Lee Shupp is a bluesy singer/songwriter and guitarist who writes and performs swampy roots rock. His music features a rich baritone voice, catchy melodies, growling guitars, and infectious dance grooves.

Growing up in the rich cultural gumbo of Texas, from the bayou in Houston to the creative Austin music scene, Lee’s influences span the musical spectrum, including rock, blues, funk, punk and country.

Lee eventually came west to San Francisco, where he currently enjoys the diversity of the Bay Area music scene. One of his favorite nights was opening for the legendary Cramps on Halloween at the Fillmore in San Francisco, on a night when the spirits were definitely out.

Lee's music reflects both his Texas roots and his Bay Area influences. His musical stylings have been compared to the Rolling Stones, Faces, T. Rex, David Bowie, Tom Petty,  Billy Gibbons, Black Keys, and Dave Alvin.
